Proposals for Year one

Introduce Engineering Program

--Project Lead the Way curriculum
--Freshmen class
--Raise funds from corporate and private sponsors to fund this program for the first year.

Introduce First Step Robotics, Inc., (for: East Lake High School Robotics Boosters, Inc., a non-profit corporation)

--Introduce summer robotics, basic physics, science, math and technology workshops.  Write a Curriculum to meet National Science Education Standards for children advancing into the 4th grade, 5th grade, and 6th grade. 
--Hire mentors as paid students with background in robotics, physics, and math. 
--After salaries, expenses, travel, and incidentals, all income generated from the summer workshops will be donated to East Lake Robotics Team and to East Lake High School specifically for the Engineering Program.
--Form East Lake High School Robotics Boosters, Inc., as a not for profit corporation in the State of Florida for the purpose of funding East Lake Engineering program and Team “79” activities.

East Lake Robotics Team – Goal is to be recognized as a FIRST Chairman’s Award Winner

--Introduce a Lego League Team
--Senior Robotics Team “79” members wish to establish a “legacy” program. 
--Attempt to establish Lego League Teams, with elementary school children participating.

--We introduced summer robotics, basic physics, science, math and technology workshops.  Curriculum written to meet National Science Education Standards utilizing Innovation First technology and parts kit for children advancing into the 4th grade, 5th grade, and 6th grade. 
--College mentors were hired and Team “79” high school students with background in robotics, physics, and math volunteered to assist with summer workshops. 
--After salaries, expenses, travel, and incidentals, all income generated from the summer workshops was donated to East Lake Robotics Team and to East Lake High School specifically for the Engineering Program.
--Formed East Lake High School Robotics Boosters, Inc., as a not for profit corporation in the State of Florida for the purpose of funding East Lake Engineering program and Team “79” activities.
