The Tempest 'N Tampa event is run by Career Technical Education Foundation, Inc. which is a 501(c)(3) organization established with the vision of introducing today's students to the exciting world of engineering and robotics. The majority of funding for this educational robotics event comes through the donations of businesses, foundations, and individuals. The contributions raised cover the cost of the venue and production, shipment of the field equipment, and help reduce or eliminate the cost to the high school teams so that more may participate.

In addition to helping to support the teams at the robotics competition, Tempest 'N Tampa is also offering business and educational organizations the opportunity to advertise their products and services to the community throughout the event. Exhibition booths will be available to all contributing organizations in our Sponsorship Showcase. This event increases the educational opportunities for students in our own community and your participation is critical to its success.
